Translation enquiries

A book in another language.

Translation needs more than a word-for-word transfer. Voice, cultural context and reader expectations all matter. Tell us what you have in mind and we can discuss the scope.

What we would need to know

Translation availability, language pairs, collaborators and pricing have not been confirmed. This page is an enquiry guide, not a promise that a particular translation service is available.

01

The manuscript

Share the genre, approximate word count, current language, publication status and a short synopsis. Let us know whether the text is final or still being revised.

02

The intended readers

Tell us the destination language and region, where you hope to publish, and whether the edition should preserve particular dialect or terminology.

03

The rights and timeline

Confirm that you hold the rights needed for translation, describe any existing translation agreement and share a realistic deadline if you have one.

Before work begins

Scope comes first

A responsible translation plan names the languages involved, who will translate and review the work, the file format, the number of review rounds and how author queries will be handled. If a project is outside our available scope, we would say so before any commitment. No language pair or translator is advertised as confirmed on this sample page.
